Practice Procedures

Be on the Track

3:00-3:30

Team Warm-up

3:30-3:50

Roll Call and event specific warm up (skill drill, static stretching, PNF stretching, strength training)

3:50-5:30

Event specific training

 

*Thursday's team meeting will take place in the fish bowl at 3:00 unless otherwise communicated.

Team Warm-up Routine – Lead by Team Captains

  1. Jog for 3-5 minutes (2 laps)

  2. Dynamic Stretching (3 minutes).  Form Half Circle  on field or gym.

    1. Arms (single arm, both arms, and arms in opposition)

    2. Trunk

    3. Knees

    4. Ankles

    5. Good mornings, burpees, or suimoes

  3. Skill Drills in event groups

  4. Static Stretching in event groups
